Bio:

Edgar Batista is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from URV in 2022 with honours (A cum laude). He also obtained his M.Sc. in Computer Security and Intelligent Systems in 2017, and his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering in 2015 with honours, both from URV. His fields of interest are smart health, context-aware environments, ubiquitous computing, and IoT.
